Daydreamer or Doer?

“Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.”  Ecclesiastes 11:4

Sometimes it is nice to just stop and think… think about all that could be or all that should be.  It’s easy to get caught in the thoughts of what might be and be paralyzed in the process of waiting for things to be just right.  Though it may be fun to daydream and get side-tracked by all the potentials, what God really asks is for us to just roll up our sleeves and get to work.  Work produces a harvest and the Lord needs more laborers in His field so His harvest can be bountiful.

“He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.”  Luke 10:2-3

So, don’t wait!  Get out there!  All conditions are perfect, not because they appear that way, but because our Father in heaven is perfect and His plans are always perfect.
