“Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”  Luke 18:1

How often are you in prayer each day?  Prayer doesn’t have to be formal, written prayer and only on your knees at your bedside, and at the end of each day.  Prayer is continuous communication with your father in heaven throughout the day, involving Him every step of the way… in thanksgiving, happiness, sorrow, sin, anger, intercession, decision making. Like a best friend whom you love to talk with, God wants you to feel the same way about Him, bringing everything to Him.  God especially loves our prayers when they center around Him and around others.

  • “And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.”  Ephesians 6:18

How can you be more focused on praying to God throughout your day?  Who else, besides yourself, can you lift up in prayer?

Father God, Thank you that you hear us and thank you that you want to hear from us.  Remind us throughout the day to focus often on you and focus often on the needs of others.  You are our loving, heavenly father.  What a great comfort that is.  We love you!  In Jesus’ Name.  Amen.
